Tips for better messages
These practices consistently produce higher-quality output from GambitAI and better reply rates in the real world.
Be specific in your goal
Your goal field drives every message. "Pitch our B2B sales intelligence platform to help them book more qualified meetings with enterprise accounts" outperforms "pitch my product" in every test. Mention a number, a timeframe, or a specific outcome if you have one.
Use all 3 angles
Observation-led works for warm touches. Problem-led for cold prospects who may not know they have the problem. Value-led for buyers already aware they need a solution. Generate all 3 and test across a list to find what resonates.
Set up your sender profile
Adding your name, title, and company (via the profile setup on first login) enables personalised sign-offs on every message. Small detail, but prospects notice when a message ends with a real person's name and title.
Add a CTA link
A Calendly or demo link integrated naturally into the ask ("Book a 15-min slot here: ...") converts better than a vague "let me know if interested." GambitAI weaves the link into the closing sentence, not just appended.
Paste raw text when you hit limits
Hit the 10/day LinkedIn lookup limit? Open their LinkedIn profile, select all (Ctrl+A), copy (Ctrl+C), and paste into GambitAI. Works just as well as URL enrichment for generating quality messages.
Use Direct tone for cold outreach
Unless your audience is enterprise, Direct tone produces the highest-performing cold outreach. It respects the reader's time and gets to the point. Formal tone works well for VP/C-suite at large companies. Casual suits startup-to-startup.
// PRO TIP
After generating, regenerate individual messages you don't love. Each message card has a regenerate button that rewrites just that angle without touching the other two. Use it to get a fresh take on the weakest variant instead of regenerating the whole set.
